Folds... they are everywhere: a napkin on the table, the clothing you wear, or a bag floating in the wind. I find them fascinating and beautiful. The simple and unexpected compositions of the Folds attract my attention. I isolate and magnify a fold to create a unique and stunning new shape. By applying the ‘trompe l’oeil’ technique, they appear almost threedimensional but this is an optical illusion.
