Biophillia Collection

Kit Miles

Kit Miles’ fascination with the rich synergy between plants and animals comes to life in Biophillia’s mesmerising pattern, a window into the world of plants and nature. Hand-drawn dragonflies, flora and surreal plants dance around each other bound to eternal natural cycles. The print is available in different colour nuances to match your natural taste.

Akira Collection

Kit Miles

Akira’s abstract composition and rush of pigments prompts illimitable flights of imagination. The non-figurative nature of the design, as if a neon-lit sleepless cityscape is suggestive of reflections of vibrant flowers in pools in a rainstorm; a blurred view from a rain-streaked taxi hurrying through a metropolis. Colours drag indeterminately into one another, giving a sense of motion, supercharging space with a cinematic quality. Tones are artfully selected combined to create a sense of richness, warmth, and texture.

Polar Byzantine Collection

Klaus Haapaniemi

The Polar Byzantine is a series of rugs based on an original poetic story written by award winning Finnish Author Rosa Liksom. Together with Klaus Haapaniemi they are also planning and staging the story and the fantastical arctic world into an opera where the animals escape the transforming nature into an Ice Palace far away from the earth.

Corinthian Check Collection

Kit Miles

Corinthian Check is a playful reimagining of elements of classical architecture. Orderly geometric shapes are loosely rendered in broad strokes of pigment colour, giving an abstract impression of what could be arches, windows and doorways. This large-scale design was inspired by the notion of a transient city made of pigments and inks. Rendering classical concepts of proportion with free and open marks and a joy of colours, a vast watery city looms as if it were a mirage in the hazy distance, setting a visionary, theatrical backdrop.

Malmaison Collection

Christian Lacroix Maison

The Malmaison collection is inspired by the exentricity of the Incroyables and Merveilleuses as well as the revival of a proven Paris after the French Revolution.“Malmaison”, signature carpet of the season, mixes the rigor of Empire style and the folly of Josephine’s rosegardens in a modern evocation of liberty, explosion of colors, flowers and humour. Cheerfullness, chic and energy are the keywords to a collection of refreshing positivity.

Le Temple Collection

Christian Lacroix Maison

The traveler has drifted from port to port, journeying from Heraklion to the slopes of Vesuvius, driven by a thirst for a long-forgotten mystery. Enthralled by universal beauty, he has sought its secret from Ancient Crete to Pompeii, the everlasting city. Inspired by his quest for knowledge and meaning, he remembers a fragment of fresco, an unfinished mosaic, the sculpted Acanthus leaves and garlands of flowers that once clothed these sacred walls. Shapes and patterns intermingle. The marks of the past melt into the designs of the present. On the floor, the artist gives shape to his memories, creating “Le Temple”, a carpet that is an ode to all aesthetes, present and past.

Jewel Garden Collection

Christian Lacroix Maison

“A rug recalling an imaginary garden, where, flirting with jewels, colorful flowers seem to blossom against the backdrop of shimmering Madras designs. A contemporary fantasy, this rug is like an illustrated fairytale popping out of The Arabian Nights. It is an invitation to come lie down and let our modern-day imagination wander just as Scheherazade once did…” Sacha Walckhoff, Creative Director at Christian Lacroix Maison

Magic Marker Collection

Bertjan Pot

The Magic Marker Carpets started off as felt tip pen-drawings. When we re-discovered the color surprises of magic markers, we knew that we were on to something. Primitive hand-drawn weaves seem to go well with the advanced technique of digital printing on carpets.

ZigZag Collection

Edward van Vliet

Edward van Vliet created a fine webbing of geometric lines on shifting shades of signature colours, infinitely repeating itself in space. The ZigZag series is intended to transform spaces with two distinct layers of randomly repeating patterns, creating a surprising depth and adding a signature fingerprint to spaces of any size. ZigZag is available in a wide range of colour schemes and combinations.

Ginko Leaf Collection

Edward van Vliet

Ginko Leaf by Edward van Vliet reflects the luxurious feeling of night walking on a rich carpet of leaves, resplendent in the moonlight. Symbolic of longevity and endurance, the Ginko leaf are available in four seasonal colours enhanced by the golden or silvery glow of the foliage. From now on you can walk through a magic, moonlit world every day.

Dutch Sky Collection

Edward van Vliet

Delftware. Fine, flowing lines of cobalt blue on almost translucent white. Perhaps typically Dutch but heavily influenced by eastern craftsmanship and styles. Like the seventeenth century potters borrowed Asian techniques and attention to detail, these designs make use of Japanese graphic abstractions of cloudy skies. Rekindling the cultural exchange between far-away nations in new interpretations. Dutch Sky is available in three different colour schemes; Dutch Sky Blue, Dutch Sky Grey and Dutch Sky Gold”.

Celestial Collection

Edward van Vliet

Inspired by the human fascination with the universe and its origin, the mystery behind black holes and the possibility of life on other planets, Intergalactic is our gateway to bright, distant stars. “It speaks of promise and opportunity beyond our current horizons” The color of this carpet is midnight blue.

Swell Collection

Mae Engelgeer

For this SWELL collection Mae Engelgeer translated graphics that refer to 70’s patterns, into an elegant play of rounded shapes. Lines that give a subtle rib effect and carefully positioned colorful circles brighten up the subdued color palette. Her soft elegant approach to textiles gives SWELL a groovy yet contemporary atmosphere.

Maze Collection

Note

Note started the creative process with a three dimensional puzzle, where one can build sculptures in non-directional ways. The carpet design has no up or down, no left or right, nor any sense of direction. Just an intriguing labyrinth of opportunities. Their names are depicted from geographical places with a strong connection to this certain type of architecture.

Crystal Collection

Ingimar Einarsson

Ingimar was inspired by the geometric forms of the hydroxyapatite crystal. Within the designs of the Crystal carpets, the various translucent layers create an ongoing depth, as if the crystals are reflected by thousands of mirrors. The bright colours in combination with the darker colour families amplify this effect of reflection and light play.

Scribble Collection

Front

Colourful, hand-drawn scribbles decorate this rug. The irregularly shaped pieces are like enlarged sketches to decorate your living room floor, with every pencil line visible.

Walking on Clouds Collection

Front

Front has studied representations of clouds in paintings and has found hundreds of different tones and shades. Their carpets are a collage of clouds depicted from a variety of media from different eras. Clouds have inspired artists, scientists and writers for centuries, and their attempts to capture these ephemeral sculptures are reflected by brushstrokes and marks.
